These terminals are designed to read and process magnetic stripe cards, EMV chip cards, and contactless payment options such as NFC (near-field communication) enabled credit/debit cards and mobile wallets. The terminal encrypts sensitive cardholder data during the transaction, ensuring a high level of security against fraud.
