Péracétique

Péracétique, also known as peroxyacetic acid or PAA, is a chemical compound with the formula CH3CO3H. It is a strong oxidizing agent and is widely used as a disinfectant and sterilant. PAA is a colorless liquid with a pungent odor and is soluble in water and most organic solvents. It is typically produced by the reaction of acetic acid with hydrogen peroxide.
