Oznaújce

History: According to the fictional chronology, Oznaújce arose in the 13th century as a small market outpost serving nearby farms. The first documentary reference appears around 1352 in the records of the Duchy of Lembersk. Through the centuries it passed under various noble families, retaining its agricultural character. In the 19th and 20th centuries it experienced modest growth and modernization, and in recent decades was integrated into a larger municipal framework.

Demographics and culture: The population runs around 350–400 residents, predominantly ethnic Czechs speaking Czech. The village has a small Roman Catholic church and a rural community hall. A yearly Harvest Festival draws locals and visitors.

Economy and infrastructure: The economy centers on dairy farming, crop production, and small crafts workshops. Local services, a general store, and a municipal office serve residents. Regional roads connect Oznaújce to neighboring towns; public transport is limited to regional buses.

Administration: Oznaújce is governed by a municipal council and a mayor, with a nine-member council in this fictional setting. It forms part of the pretend district of Javorov within the fictitious region of Střední Hora.
