Osakejäljennösten

Osakejäljennösten, often translated as stock certificates or share certificates, are physical or digital documents that serve as proof of ownership of a specific number of shares in a company. Historically, these were paper documents issued by a corporation to its shareholders. They contained crucial information such as the company's name, the shareholder's name, the number of shares owned, and the par value of those shares, if applicable. Each certificate was usually assigned a unique serial number.

The issuance of osakejäljennösten was a common practice for publicly traded companies to formalize share ownership. Shareholders could hold onto these certificates as tangible evidence of their investment.
