Osabarima
Osabarima is a term of respect commonly used in Ghana, particularly among Akan-speaking peoples. It translates roughly to "great man" or "king" and is employed to address or refer to a man of significant stature, influence, or authority. The appellation is not limited to royalty, though it can certainly be used for chiefs and traditional rulers. It can also be applied to respected elders, accomplished individuals, or anyone deserving of high regard within a community.
