Orobie
Orobie is a rural commune situated in northern Poland, within the administrative district of Gmina Braniewo in Braniewo County, Pomeranian Voivodeship. The territory covers an area of approximately 48 square kilometres, and it is located roughly 140 kilometres north-west of the regional capital Gdańsk. The landscape is characterised by rolling hills, mixed forests and several small lakes, with the Vistula River basin influencing the local drainage system.
The settlement has a long historical lineage, first mentioned in medieval chronicles in the early 13th century
As of the 2011 Polish census, Orobie had a population of about 2,700 residents, predominantly ethnically Polish.
Orobie's infrastructure includes a network of regional roads linking it to Braniewo and Kętrzyn, as well as
