They may be depicted as vanished, sealed in stasis, or existing beyond the edges of known space. Their artifacts and archives often drive plotlines about provenance, heritage, and the true source of cultural innovation.

Culture, society, and religion: Originians are frequently shown with a strong emphasis on origin myths, lineage, and cosmology.
