Organogrammes

An organogramme, also known as an organizational chart, is a diagram that visually represents the structure of an organization. It typically illustrates the relationships between different departments, positions, and individuals within a company or institution. The chart displays reporting lines and the hierarchy of authority, showing who reports to whom.

The most common type of organogramme is a hierarchical chart, which resembles an upside-down tree. The top position, usually the CEO or president, is at the apex, with successive levels of management and employees branching downwards. Other forms of organogrammes exist, such as flat or horizontal charts, which depict a more decentralized structure with fewer management layers, and matrix charts, which show dual reporting relationships for employees.
