Optimointitehtävänä refers to an optimization problem in Finnish. It describes a situation where the goal is to find the best possible solution from a set of feasible solutions, according to a specific criterion. This criterion is often expressed as a function that needs to be minimized or maximized.

Optimization problems are fundamental in many fields, including mathematics, computer science, engineering, economics, and operations research.
