Operativizarea

Operativizarea is a term with roots in Romanian, often translated as operationalization or implementation. It refers to the process of translating abstract concepts, plans, or strategies into concrete actions and measurable outcomes. In essence, it's about making something practical and actionable.

This process is crucial in various fields, including project management, policy development, and academic research. When a strategy or a theory is operativized, it means that the general ideas have been broken down into specific steps, tasks, and indicators that can be observed, measured, and executed. For example, a government policy aimed at improving public health would need to be operativized by defining specific programs, allocating resources, and establishing metrics to track progress.
