Onnellisesti

Onnellisesti is a Finnish adverb meaning “happily” or “fortunately.” It is formed from the adjective onnellinen (“happy,” “fortunate”) by adding the adverbial suffix -sti. The word is used to describe the manner of an action or the outcome of a situation with a positive connotation.

Etymology and form: The root onni denotes luck or happiness. From this root developments include the noun onni and the adjective onnellinen, which in turn gives the adverb onnellisesti.
