Ompari

Ompari is a sovereign state comprising a chain of tropical islands and a small mainland peninsula in the eastern portion of the fictional continent of Nareth. Covering about 120,000 square kilometers, it has a population of around 2.1 million. The capital is Navira. The official language is Omparian; English is widely used in government and commerce. Other recognized languages include Kori and Selari.

Geographically, Ompari features mountainous interiors on the mainland and volcanic and coral islands along its coast. The climate is tropical maritime, with a wet season from May to October. The economy relies on agriculture (cocoa, coconut, pepper), fishing, and a growing services sector centered on tourism and information services. The country maintains protected areas preserving rainforest and coral ecosystems.

Ompari has a parliamentary republic framework established in the 1960s. The President serves as head of state, while the Prime Minister is head of government and leads the cabinet. The unicameral National Assembly has 58 members elected to four-year terms. The judiciary is independent. Ompari is a member of the Nareth Regional Assembly and maintains a mixed-market economy with ongoing reform.

Society is multireligious and multilingual, with cultural traditions centered on coastal and highland communities. National holidays celebrate founding and harvest festivals, and cuisine emphasizes seafood dishes, tropical fruits, and spice. Education is compulsory through secondary level, and health care is publicly funded.
