Olórin
Olórin is a character from J.R.R. Tolkien's legendarium, primarily appearing in The Silmarillion and other posthumously published works. He is an Istar, one of the five wizards sent to Middle-earth by the Valar in the Third Age. Olórin is his name in the common tongue of the Elves. He is also known as Gandalf, a name given to him by the Men of Rohan, and Mithrandir, meaning "Grey Pilgrim," by the Elves.
