Odroid C4 is a single-board computer developed by Hardkernel. It is designed as an affordable, energy-efficient platform for embedded projects, multimedia, and small-scale servers. The board targets users seeking a balance between performance and simplicity, with ongoing support from the Hardkernel community and third-party builds.

Hardware-wise, Odroid C4 is powered by the Amlogic S905X3 system-on-a-chip, a quad-core Cortex-A55 processor capable of up to around 2.0 GHz. The integrated Mali-G31 MP2 GPU provides basic 3D graphics acceleration and multimedia processing. The system includes 4 GB of DDR4 RAM, offering functional headroom for light to moderate workloads. For storage, the board provides a microSD card slot and an optional eMMC module slot, allowing booting from microSD or storing the operating system on fast eMMC storage.

In terms of video and multimedia, Odroid C4 provides HDMI 2.0a output with support for 4K at 60 Hz, suitable for home theater and general display use. The SoC includes hardware decoding support for common formats such as H.265 and H.264. Networking is handled by a Gigabit Ethernet interface; wireless connectivity is not built-in, but USB adapters can add Wi-Fi or Bluetooth if needed.

Connectivity includes multiple USB ports, typically USB 3.0 for high-speed peripherals, along with a USB OTG option on the board. The device exposes a 40-pin GPIO header for I/O, compatible with a range of sensors and accessories.
