OBOD, the Order of Bards, Ovates and Druids, is a modern druidic and neopagan organization that promotes Druidry as a nature-based spiritual path. It emphasizes personal development through study of myth, poetry, ritual, meditation, and the cycles of the year, with an inclusive approach that welcomes practitioners from diverse backgrounds.

Founded in the mid-20th century as part of the contemporary Druid revival, OBOD operates internationally and offers a structured program of study in three grades: Bard, Ovate, and Druid. The curriculum is designed for self-directed learning by correspondence and online formats, with each grade focusing on different aspects of practice: Bard on creativity and communication through poetry and storytelling; Ovate on prophecy, healing, and an affinity with the seasons; and Druid on wisdom, leadership, and philosophy.

Ritual practice includes seasonal ceremonies aligned with solstices and equinoxes, lunar timing, and nature-based meditation. Local study groups and online communities provide opportunities for shared ritual, readings, and field study. The symbol of Awen—three rays representing inspiration—and related motifs appear in OBOD materials and ceremonies.

OBOD positions itself as one of the largest modern druid orders, with a global presence and resources for study, practice, and community-building. It publishes courses and writings for members and maintains online platforms for engagement and learning.
