Näytettä is the partitive singular form of the Finnish noun näyte, which refers to a sample or specimen intended to represent a larger whole, or to an instance used to illustrate a point. The term is used in everyday language and in specialized contexts to denote material or data taken for examination, analysis, or demonstration. As a linguistic form, näytettä appears in phrases where a non-specific or indefinite amount of a sample is described.

In scientific and medical contexts, näyte refers to a specimen collected for testing or analysis. Common examples include verinäyte (blood sample), virtsanäyte (urine sample), and kudosnäyte or solunäyte (tissue or cell sample).
