Nätverksfelsäkerhet, often translated as network fault tolerance or network resilience, refers to the ability of a computer network to continue operating despite the failure of one or more of its components. This is a crucial aspect of network design and management, as downtime can lead to significant financial losses, loss of productivity, and damage to an organization's reputation.

The core principle behind nätverksfelsäkerhet is redundancy. This means having duplicate components or alternative paths for data to travel.
