Nyírnövény

Nyírnövény is a Hungarian term that translates to "birch plant." It refers to any plant species belonging to the Betula genus, commonly known as birch trees. These deciduous trees are characterized by their distinctive bark, which is often white, papery, and peels in thin layers, although bark color can vary from gray to black and even yellow depending on the species and age. Birches are widespread in temperate and boreal regions of the Northern Hemisphere, thriving in a variety of climates.

The genus Betula encompasses a significant number of species, including well-known examples like the silver birch (Betula pendula) and the downy birch (Betula pubescens). These trees are typically fast-growing and can reach considerable heights.
