Nordwand
Nordwand, also known as the North Face, is a term primarily associated with the Eiger mountain in the Swiss Alps. The Eiger's north face is one of the most iconic and challenging alpine climbs in the world, notorious for its extreme difficulty and historical significance. It presents a sheer vertical wall of rock and ice, subject to unpredictable weather and dangerous conditions, including rockfall and avalanches.
