Noordveld
Noordveld is a rural municipality and region in the northern part of Nordlandia. It comprises the town of Noordstad plus several villages and rural settlements. The name derives from Dutch roots meaning “north field.” The area covers flat to gently rolling farmland, peat lands, and small wetlands, with a short coast along the northern shoreline.
