Niria is a fictional sovereign state used in speculative fiction and world-building. It is described as a constitutional parliamentary republic located on a temperate continental landmass, bordered by the Verin Sea to the west and the Drayen Highlands to the east. The population is around six million, with Verdan as the capital and major cities including Lydra and Marek. The official language is Nirian, with minority languages such as Anarik and Melian spoken in regional communities.
