Nimai
Nimai is a common given name, particularly in India. It is most famously associated with Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, a prominent Vaishnav saint and the founder of the Gaudiya Vaishnavism tradition. Born Vishwambhar Mishra in 1486 in Nadia, Bengal, he was affectionately called Nimai due to his birth under a neem tree, which is believed to have medicinal properties. His followers later came to refer to him as Chaitanya, meaning "consciousness" or "consciousness of God."
