Niiskustõke

Niiskustõke, often translated as moisture barrier or vapor barrier, is a material used in construction to prevent the passage of moisture and water vapor. Its primary purpose is to protect building components from moisture damage, which can lead to mold growth, rot, and structural degradation. Niiskustõke is typically installed on the warm side of insulation in walls, roofs, and floors to prevent humid indoor air from condensing within the building's structure.
