Neuroticitás

Neuroticitás is a personality trait characterized by a tendency to experience negative emotions such as anxiety, anger, sadness, and worry. Individuals high in neuroticitás are more emotionally reactive and prone to stress. This trait is one of the Big Five personality dimensions, alongside conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and openness.

People with high neuroticitás often perceive everyday situations as more threatening and react more intensely to stressors. This can manifest as a general sense of unease, irritability, or a feeling of being overwhelmed. While not a mental disorder in itself, high neuroticitás can be a risk factor for developing certain psychological conditions, such as anxiety disorders and depression, due to the increased susceptibility to negative emotional states.

They are less likely to be bothered by minor inconveniences and can generally handle stressful situations with greater ease. Emotional stability is associated with a more positive outlook and better coping mechanisms.
