Neovenator
Neovenator is a genus of theropod dinosaur from the Early Cretaceous of what is now England. Its fossils come from the Isle of Wight and date to the Barremian to Aptian stage of the Early Cretaceous. The genus contains a single named species, Neovenator salerii. The name means new hunter, and the species name honors the landowner on whose property the fossils were found.
