Neopaganistisia
Neopaganistisia refers to the collective term used in Finland for practitioners of contemporary Pagan traditions, often referred to in English as “neopaganists.” The term emerged in the early 2000s as a way to describe the growing visibility of pagan spiritual movements in a predominantly Lutheran country. It encompasses a range of practices, from Wicca and Heathenry to revivalist forms of Finnish folk Paganism such as Ásatrú and the traditional veneration of nature spirits.
The movement gained momentum through online forums, small gatherings, and participation in interfaith festivals. Finnish neopaganistisia
