Natriumsuoloista

Natriumsuoloista is a Finnish term referring to sodium salts, chemical compounds that contain the sodium cation (Na+) paired with various anions. In chemistry, a sodium salt is typically formed when a hydrogen ion of an acid is replaced by sodium, or when a base neutralizes an acid. Sodium salts are generally ionic compounds with high lattice energy; many are crystalline solids at room temperature and dissolve in water to yield Na+ and the corresponding anion.
