Nasslaufzylinder
A Nasslaufzylinder, or wet cylinder, is a type of cylinder used in various mechanical applications, most notably in internal combustion engines. In a Nasslaufzylinder design, the cylinder liner is in direct contact with the engine coolant, which circulates around it. This contrasts with a Trockenlaufzylinder (dry cylinder), where the cylinder liner is surrounded by a water jacket but not in direct contact with the coolant.
