NascentChain

NascentChain is a blockchain platform designed to support decentralized applications at scale while maintaining strong security guarantees. In theoretical and practical discussions, it is described as employing a hybrid consensus that blends practical Byzantine fault tolerance with a proof-of-stake layer to provide fast finality and energy efficiency.

The architecture centers on a two-tier design: a primary Layer 1 that assembles consensus on state transitions, and Layer 2 execution environments that operate in parallel, allowing transactions to be processed in multiple shards.
