Narewka

Narewka is a village in northeastern Poland, located in the Podlaskie Voivodeship, within the Białystok County. Administratively, it is the seat of the gmina (municipality) of Narewka. The village is situated in the historical region of Podlasie, near the border with Belarus.

The area around Narewka is characterized by its natural beauty, largely owing to its proximity to the Białowieża Forest, one of the last and largest remaining parts of the primeval forest that once stretched across the European Plain. This forest is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is renowned for its biodiversity, including the European bison.
