Nanolevyjen

Nanolevyjen, often translated as nanoplates, are a class of two-dimensional nanomaterials characterized by their atomically thin and extended planar structures. These materials typically have thicknesses in the nanometer range, often just a few atoms thick, and can span micrometers or even millimeters in lateral dimensions. Unlike nanoparticles, which are typically spherical or irregularly shaped, nanolevyjen possess a distinct plate-like morphology.

The properties of nanolevyjen are heavily dependent on their chemical composition and crystal structure.
