NWFP

NWFP is an acronym that can refer to more than one topic. Historically, it most commonly denoted the North-West Frontier Province, a province of Pakistan from 1901 to 2010. Located in the country’s northwestern region, it bordered Afghanistan and included diverse landscapes and communities, with Peshawar as its capital. In 2010, the province was renamed Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as part of constitutional changes, and the NWFP designation is now primarily used in historical contexts or older documents.

NWFP also stands for Non-Wood Forest Products, a term used in forestry, development, and biodiversity policy
