NOXEnzyme

NOXEnzyme refers to a family of enzymes known as NADPH oxidases. These enzymes are primarily involved in the production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) within cells. While ROS are often associated with cellular damage, NOX enzymes play crucial roles in various physiological processes, including immune defense, cell signaling, and the regulation of gene expression.

The NOX enzyme family is diverse, with several distinct members identified in mammals, plants, and other organisms.
