NCRpapir
NCRpapir is a type of carbonless copy paper. It allows for the creation of multiple copies of a document simultaneously without the need for carbon paper. The paper works through a chemical reaction. The back of the top sheet is coated with microencapsulated dye. The front of the sheet below is coated with a developer. When pressure is applied to the top sheet, such as from writing or typing, the microcapsules rupture. This releases the dye, which then reacts with the developer on the sheet below, creating a visible mark that forms a copy.
This technology was developed in the mid-20th century and has largely replaced the older method of using
