Mättnadströskelns
Mättnadströskelns, often translated as saturation threshold or threshold of saturation, is a concept primarily used in the fields of psychology and physiology to describe the point at which a stimulus or sensation reaches its maximum intensity and can no longer be perceived as increasing. This means that beyond this threshold, further increases in the stimulus will not lead to a corresponding increase in the subjective experience of that stimulus.
In psychophysics, it relates to the perception of sensory input, such as light intensity or sound volume.
The concept also finds application in understanding physiological processes. For instance, in the context of muscle
