Myöhentynyt

Usage: Myöhentynyt can modify a noun, for example myöhentynyt aikataulu (delayed timetable), myöhentynyt lento (delayed flight), or myöhentyneet lennot (delayed flights). It can also be used predicatively: Lento on myöhentynyt. In everyday speech, myöhässä is more common for someone or something that is late at the moment, while myöhentynyt emphasizes a delay that has occurred and affected timing.

Examples: Lento on myöhentynyt noin 40 minuuttia. Myöhentynyt aikataulu on aiheuttanut muutoksia matkasuunnitelmiin. Myöhentyneet lennot aiheuttivat viivästyksiä matkustajille.
