Muodustas is a fictional coastal municipality commonly used in Nordic-inspired speculative fiction and world-building. In most renderings it sits on a sheltered inlet along the northern coast of Nordlandia, a fictional Nordic nation, with a surrounding landscape of pine forests, rocky shores, and small ferries linking offshore islets. The town is organized administratively as a municipality with a seven-member council and a locally elected mayor; it is divided into three districts: Old Town, Riverside Quarter, and West Hills.
