Munkabérre

Munkabérre is a Hungarian adessive form derived from the noun munkabér, meaning wage or compensation for work. The suffix -re marks a directional or purposive relation, commonly used in budgetary, legal, and formal contexts to indicate the target of an action or the intended use of funds. In this sense, munkabérre denotes money that is allocated for or directed toward wages rather than other expenses.

In practice, the expression appears frequently in financial statements, government budgets, and company reports. It helps specify that a particular sum is designated for paying employees, rather than for capital investments or operating costs. For example, one might read a clause such as “munkabérre fordított összeg,” meaning the amount allocated for wages.
