Muistivetoisa

Muistivetoisa is a Finnish term that translates to "memory-driven" or "memory-oriented" in English. It is often used in the context of computing and technology to describe systems, algorithms, or data structures that rely heavily on the computer's main memory (RAM) for their operation.

In software development, a muistivetoisa approach prioritizes keeping frequently accessed data in RAM to minimize the latency associated with retrieving it from slower storage devices like hard drives or solid-state drives. This can significantly improve performance, especially for applications that handle large datasets or require rapid data processing. Examples include in-memory databases, caching mechanisms, and certain types of real-time analytics platforms.

However, muistivetoisa systems also have limitations. The primary constraint is the finite capacity of RAM.
