In most fictional renderings, the Msorokbanian are described as living in a mountainous interior region, with settlements clustered along rivers and terraces that support farming and forestry.

The Msorokbanian language is depicted as a small agglutinative tongue with multiple dialects. It is often described as having subject–object–verb order, rich noun-phrase morphology, and markers that indicate evidential stance.
