Monotypia
Monotypia is a photographic printing process that produces a unique print from a single plate or block. The image is created by applying ink or paint to a non-absorbent surface, such as glass or metal, and then pressing paper onto the inked surface to transfer the image. Each print is therefore one-of-a-kind, as the original plate cannot be perfectly reproduced.
