Monotonies
Monotonies, in a mathematical context, refer to the property of a sequence or function to either consistently increase or consistently decrease. A sequence is considered monotonically increasing if each term is greater than or equal to the previous term. Similarly, a sequence is monotonically decreasing if each term is less than or equal to the previous term.
