Momentism

Momentism is a philosophical and political movement that emphasizes the importance of the present moment and the immediate experience of life. Momentism is closely related to hedonism, which focuses on pleasure and enjoyment, and to existentialism, which emphasizes individual existence and freedom.

Despite its popularity, momentism has also been criticized for its hedonistic tendencies and its potential to lead to a shallow or superficial approach to life. Some philosophers and thinkers have argued that focusing solely on the present moment can lead to a neglect of long-term goals and responsibilities, and that a balanced approach to life should consider both the present and the future. Nonetheless, momentism continues to be a significant influence in various aspects of culture and thought.
