Molossia, officially the Republic of Molossia, is a self-declared micronation located on the private property of Kevin Baugh near Dayton, Nevada, United States. Founded in the late 1990s as a personal project, Molossia asserts its independence and maintains its own government, flag, national symbols, postage system, and currency. It is not recognized as a sovereign state by any United Nations member or other government.

Geography and population: The territory is a small parcel adjacent to Dayton, and its population consists mainly of residents, staff, and visiting participants who engage with Molossia through tours and events. The arrangement is primarily private, with public components offered to visitors.

Government and politics: The government is led by Kevin Baugh, who serves as president and head of state. Molossia describes itself as a constitutional republic, operating with a limited administrative structure for ceremonial and domestic purposes. Real-world authority is confined to the nation’s grounds and activities, and decision-making is largely centralized under Baugh.

Economy and culture: Molossia issues its own currency, the Valora, and has produced stamps and ceremonial passports as part of its self-declared sovereignty. The nation maintains a small museum and visitor facilities, and conducts ceremonial military-style parades or demonstrations for guests.
