Mittehemolüütlus
Mittehemolüütlus, also known as non-hemolytic anemia, is a type of anemia characterized by a reduced number of red blood cells (RBCs) in the blood, but without significant hemolysis, which is the destruction of RBCs. This condition can be caused by various factors, including nutritional deficiencies, chronic diseases, or genetic disorders. Unlike hemolytic anemias, where RBCs are destroyed at an increased rate, non-hemolytic anemias result from decreased RBC production or increased RBC destruction at a normal rate.
The diagnosis of non-hemolytic anemia typically involves a complete blood count (CBC) and a reticulocyte count.
