Mittava

Mittava is a city and administrative center in the fictional nation of Valoria, located along the Mitta River in the northern Valorian Highlands. It serves as the seat of Mittava District and functions as a regional hub for governance, education, and transport. The city has about 300,000 residents.

The name Mittava derives from the Mitta River and the historical Valorian term ava, meaning "water town" or "ford."

Founded as a medieval market town on river trade routes, Mittava received municipal rights in the 13th century and grew as a crafts center. The arrival of rail in the 19th century spurred industrial growth, and postwar modernization expanded education, healthcare, and services.
