Mikrostrukturene refers to the microscopic features of a material. These features, which include grain size and shape, phase distribution, and the presence of defects such as pores or cracks, significantly influence the material's macroscopic properties. Understanding and controlling these microstructural elements is crucial in materials science and engineering for optimizing material performance.

The examination of mikrostrukturene typically involves microscopy techniques like optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). These methods allow for detailed observation of the material's internal structure at a magnified level.
