Migite
Migite refers to the dominant hand used for writing. For the majority of the global population, this is the right hand, making them right-handed. Conversely, individuals who primarily use their left hand for writing are left-handed, and those who can use both hands with equal proficiency are ambidextrous. Handedness is a complex trait influenced by genetics and brain lateralization, where certain cognitive functions are primarily processed in one hemisphere of the brain. While the exact reasons for right-hand dominance are not fully understood, research suggests a link to the development of language centers in the left hemisphere of the brain, which also controls motor functions of the right side of the body. Historically, there have been societal pressures in some cultures to conform to right-handedness, leading to the suppression of left-handedness. However, modern attitudes are generally more accepting of individual handedness. The prevalence of right-handedness varies slightly across different populations and geographical regions.
