Microrealist

Microrealism is a contemporary art movement that emerged in the late 20th century, characterized by its focus on the minute details of everyday objects and environments. The term was coined by the French art critic Michel Ragon in 1989 to describe a new wave of artists who were exploring the microcosmic world, often using magnifying tools and other scientific instruments to capture their subjects. The movement is closely associated with the French art scene, particularly in cities like Paris and Lyon, where it gained prominence in the 1990s.
