Mensää

Mensää is a municipality located in the Lapland region of Finland. It lies in the northern part of the country and is situated on the shores of Lake Inari, a large and significant body of water in Finnish Lapland. The municipality is part of the Sámi homeland, and the Sámi culture and language are present in the area.

The main economic activities in Mensää historically and currently include reindeer herding, fishing, and tourism. The municipality's geographical position means it experiences extreme variations in daylight throughout the year, with the polar night in winter and the midnight sun in summer.
